Burgers and Hash

Preheat the over to 400F.

Hash:

  • 4 small or 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Wash the sweet potatoes and cut up into cubes; add to a large bowl.

Dice the onion and add to the bowl, along with the olive oil. Toss well.

Place in a deep glass dish (4.8 quart); spread evenly.

Back in the over 30-45 minutes at 400F or until lightly crisped, mixing after 30 minutes.

Burgers:

  • 1 pound ground grass-fed beef or lamb
  • 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • dash of sea salt
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce

Combine all ingredients well and shape into patties; back at 400F for 12 minutes (or grill).

Serve with sliced beefsteak tomatoes, pickles, and condiments of your choice.

Pair the meal with roasted veggies like asparagus, brussel sprouts, eggplant & peppers, or salad.
